Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 29, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Wariverse ("Wariverse", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information in connection with Lodgr, our hospitality management platform. It applies to hospitality operators who use Lodgr ("operators", "customers"), their staff, and the guests whose information operators record in the system.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — name, email, phone number and business details provided when an operator registers for Lodgr.
  • Staff information — names, roles and contact details of staff members an operator adds to their account.
  • Guest and booking information — guest names, contact details, identification and booking records that operators enter into Lodgr to run their hospitality business.
  • Payment information — payment and transaction records processed through Paystack. Lodgr does not store full card details; these are handled directly by Paystack.
  • Usage information — technical information such as log data and device information generated when the platform is used.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate and maintain the Lodgr platform for the operator's hospitality business.
  • Process subscription billing and guest payments through Paystack.
  • Provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
  • Maintain the security, integrity and audit trail of the platform.
  • Improve and develop the Lodgr platform.

4. Data Isolation Between Operators

Lodgr is a multi-tenant platform. Each operator's account, properties, guests, staff and financial records are logically isolated from every other operator on the platform. One operator cannot access another operator's data.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers only as needed to operate Lodgr, including Paystack (payment processing) and our cloud hosting infrastructure providers. These providers are only permitted to use the information to provide services to us and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations.

6. Operators as Data Controllers for Guest Information

Hospitality operators using Lodgr are the data controllers for the guest information they enter into the platform. Wariverse processes this information on the operator's behalf, as their data processor, solely to provide the Lodgr platform. Operators are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis to collect and process their guests' information.

7. Data Retention

We retain account, booking and transaction information for as long as an operator's account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. Operators may request deletion of their account data, subject to records we are required to retain by law.

8. Cookies

Lodgr uses essential cookies and similar technologies required to keep users signed in and to operate the platform securely. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information stored in Lodgr against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your relationship to Lodgr and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or request deletion of your personal information. Operators can manage most guest and staff information directly within the platform. For other requests, contact us using the details below.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
